The Army Chief of Staff meets a senior British military official to discuss military cooperation

The Chief of Staff of the Army, General Abd al-Amir Rashid Yarallah, met today, Tuesday, the Senior Adviser to the British Ministry of Defense for Middle East Affairs, Lieutenant General Martin Sampson, and the military attache in Iraq.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that during the meeting, they discussed British support for the military institution in the field of training, arming and equipment, in a way that secures the development of the capabilities of our forces and raises the level of combat readiness.

For his part, the Senior Advisor to the British Ministry of Defense affirmed his country's keenness to continue support, cooperation and joint coordination between the two friendly countries.
