Ten Killed, 13 Injured After Tourist Bus Crash in Northern Pakistan

Islamabad: Ten people were killed and 13 others were injured when a tourist bus crashed in northern Pakistan. Police said in a statement on Thursday that the bus lost control while negotiating a bend near the Khajot area on the Islamabad-Murree Expressway, before veering off the road and falling into a roadside ditch, where it caught fire.

According to Qatar News Agency, the statement added that all of the victims belonged to the same family, which was traveling from the city of Multan to Murree on a leisure trip, noting that several children were among the passengers. Pakistani authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances and causes of the accident.
