AMMAN – Qatar’s table tennis teams began their campaign at the 2022 West Asia Table Tennis Championship with some important victories on Tuesday.
The championship is held in Jordanian’s capital city of Amman until August 01.
Qatar’s under 19 years team defeated Kuwait 3-0 while Qatar’s under U15 years edged past Iraq in the first round.
In boys under 13 years event, Qatar defeated hosts Jordan 3-0.
The championships brings together, hosts Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq.
