Sultanate of Oman and Botswana Forge New Diplomatic Ties

New york: The Sultanate of Oman and Botswana have officially established diplomatic relations, following the signing of a joint statement in New York. This significant diplomatic move was executed by Omar bin Saeed Al Kathiri, the Permanent Representative of Oman to the United Nations, and Charles Masule, the Permanent Representative of Botswana to the United Nations.

According to Qatar News Agency, Oman’s representative, Omar bin Saeed Al Kathiri, emphasized that the establishment of diplomatic relations is a reflection of the mutual interest of both governments. This foundational step aims to enhance dialogue and cooperation, serving the interests of Oman and Botswana.

In response, Botswana’s representative, Charles Masule, expressed his government’s eagerness to elevate bilateral relations and explore new avenues of collaboration with Oman.
