Doha: HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim met with HE Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, who is currently visiting the country. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the two nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting began with HE the Speaker of the Shura Council welcoming his Ghanaian counterpart. The Speaker highlighted the longstanding parliamentary relations between Qatar and Ghana, emphasizing the Shura Council's commitment to fostering greater collaboration and coordination in various parliamentary settings.
The discussions focused on reviewing and enhancing bilateral parliamentary relations to support the shared interests and aspirations of the people of Qatar and Ghana. Both sides expressed a desire to bolster consultation and coordination at both regional and international levels.
