Kuwait city: HE President of the Supreme Judiciary Council (SJC) and President of the Court of Cassation Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Hassan Al Mohannadi participated Wednesday in the 11th periodic meeting of Their Excellencies the Presidents of Supreme and Cassation Courts of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states, held in the State of Kuwait.
According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency’s participation was part of efforts to enhance judicial cooperation among GCC countries, share expertise and best practices, and develop judicial systems in alignment with modern legal advancements. The meeting involved discussions on strengthening joint judicial work, coordinating efforts to address regional legal challenges, and exchanging views on legislation and laws of mutual interest to the GCC states.
HE Dr. Hassan bin Lahdan Al Hassan Al Mohannadi’s involvement reaffirmed the SJC’s commitment to fostering cooperation with GCC partners and advancing the judicial system to serve the public interest and ensure swift and fair justice.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari from the Court of Cassation received the Administrative Excellence Award in Supreme and Cassation Courts.
