Jerusalem: Six Palestinians, including a child, were injured and others were arrested today during raids by Israeli occupation forces on several cities and towns in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. The raids were accompanied by attacks by settlers on Palestinian citizens and their property.
According to Qatar News Agency, occupation forces stormed the Al-Mahjar neighborhood in the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm, amidst heavy live fire. A young man was wounded in the shoulder and thigh before being transported to the hospital by Palestinian Red Crescent crews. A 13-year-old boy was also injured after being beaten during a raid on the town of Bal'a, east of Tulkarm.
The occupation forces raided the suburb of Iktaba and the towns of Deir al-Ghusun, Allar, Attil, and Qaffin, north of Tulkarm. They deployed throughout the main streets and neighborhoods, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles, and subjecting several Palestinians to field interrogations. They also fired stun grenades during the raids.
In the town of Qaffin, north of Tulkarm, a Palestinian man was injured after being beaten during an attack by settlers on the town. In Hebron, a young man was injured during an assault by Israeli occupation forces after they stormed a house in the Jaber neighborhood. He lost consciousness and was released after four hours of detention.
Settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, also attacked Palestinian homes in the Wadi Sa'ir area northeast of Hebron, injuring a woman who received on-site medical treatment.
In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces arrested two brothers from the village of Deir Jarir, east of the city, after stopping their vehicle at the village entrance.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces arrested several Palestinians, including children and an elderly man, following an attack by settlers in the Old City. They also arrested a child who sustained head injuries during the assault, before releasing him later.
