Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq Sheikh Qais al-Khazali confirmed: “Kirkuk is Iraqi and the Turkmen are Iraqis.”
Al-Khazali said in a tweet on the X website: “From Karbala, we announce: Kirkuk is Iraqi and the Turkmen are Iraqis, and no country has the right to interfere in our internal affairs.”
