Settlers stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, under tight protection from the occupation police.
Witnesses said that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in eastern area adjacent to Bab al-Rahma prayer area, according to Palestinian news agency (WAFA).
These incursions coincided with strict measures imposed by the occupation forces on the entry to the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as continued provocations by settlers inside the Old City.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily violations and incursions by settlers, except for Friday and Saturday, in an attempt to impose full control over the holy mosque and divide it temporally and spatially.
