Salfit – Settlers, with the support of Israeli occupation soldiers, attacked Yasuf farmers while they were picking olives east of Salfit.
The Deputy Chairman of the Yasuf Village Council, Wael Abu Madi, reported to Ma’an: “Dozens of settlers, protected by the occupation army, attacked the farmers with live bullets, and expelled them while they were picking olives from their lands in the eastern area of the village, known as “Nasba.”
Abu Madi added that the settlers set fire to a number of perennial olive trees, stealing crops and agricultural tools from farmers, explaining that the Israeli army informed us that olives would not be harvested this year.
Abu Madi indicated that a number of herds of settlers are gathering near the entrance to the town, under the protection of the Israeli army.
