Saudi Stock Market Sees Positive Gains as Main Index Rises

Doha: Saudi Arabia's main stock index experienced an uptick on Sunday, closing with a gain of 134.37 points to settle at 11,202.64. The session saw a substantial trading volume, with the total trading value reaching 5 billion riyals.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session was marked by significant activity, with 250 million shares changing hands. Out of the companies traded, 218 registered gains, while 31 experienced declines.

In parallel developments, the Saudi parallel market index, known as Nomu, also ended on a positive note. It rose by 195.03 points to close at 27,248.13. The trading values in the parallel market exceeded 39 million riyals, with more than 2.9 million shares exchanged during the session.
