Saudi Stock Exchange Experiences Decline as Main Index Falls

Riyadh: The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index concluded Thursday's trading session on a downward trajectory, registering a decline of 31.76 points to settle at 11,006.98 points. The total value of trades conducted on the main index reached SR 4.1 billion.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 255 million shares being exchanged. Out of the companies listed, 125 experienced an increase in their share value, while 117 companies saw a decrease as the market closed.

In contrast, the Saudi Parallel Stock Exchange Index (Nomu) ended the session on a positive note, gaining 50.11 points to close at 27,294.97 points. The value of trades on Nomu was recorded at SR 22 million, with the volume of traded shares surpassing two million.
