Saudi Arabia, France, Italy Stress Need for De-escalation in MidEast

Riyadh: HH Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed with French President, Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni in separate calls Sunday the latest developments in the region and the repercussions of the Israeli attack on Iran. The phone conversations also covered the US targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities and emphasized the need to make every effort to exercise restraint, avoid escalation, and resolve all disputes through diplomatic means.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions highlighted the urgent necessity for de-escalation in the Middle East. The leaders underscored the importance of diplomacy in addressing regional tensions and conflicts. The conversations also reflected a consensus on the need for international cooperation to prevent further escalation and to seek peaceful resolutions to ongoing disputes.
