Russian Forces Announce Repelling 7 Ukrainian Attacks And Killing 60 Soldiers

The Russian forces announced that they had repulsed 7 Ukrainian attacks, and killed 60 soldiers in "Krasny Liman" axis.

Alexander Savchuk, director of the media center of the Russian army, said, in press statements, that the Ukrainian forces launched attacks on "Krasny Liman" axis, and the Russian forces confronted them, and directed them with air and artillery strikes.

Savchuk added that the Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses during the attacks, as about 60 soldiers were killed, in addition to the destruction of an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored vehicle and two pickup trucks, and "Strela-10" anti-aircraft missile system was severely damaged.

The Russian Ministry of Defense had announced, earlier today, Saturday, that it had thwarted a Ukrainian attempt to carry out an attack using a drone, noting that the attack was targeting sites in the city and district of Moscow.

For his part, Sergei Sobyanin, Mayor of Moscow, said on his channel on "Telegram" that the Russian air defense systems managed to destroy a drone in "Istra" region, which was on its way to the Russian capital.

He added, "According to preliminary information, there are no injuries or damages, and the competent authorities are working at the accident site."

This comes in the wake of the Russian Ministry of Defense's announcement that the Russian air defense media had intercepted an enemy drone in the skies of "Kaluga" province, southwest of Moscow./ End
