Doha: A delegation from the Russian Ministry of Defense visited the General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security as part of efforts to strengthen security cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Russian Federation. The delegation was welcomed by the Director General of Coasts and Borders Security, Staff Lieutenant Colonel (Navy) Hassan Ahmed Al Sulaiti, along with several officers.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Russian delegation was led by Vice Admiral Kalganov Viktor Andreevich, Deputy Chief of the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the duties of the General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security. The briefing included the directorate's role in coastal protection, executing search and rescue operations, and securing vital marine installations.
