Ramallah: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Sunday that its air defense systems shot down 90 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory last night.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry reported that Russian air defense forces downed 90 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions: 37 drones were shot down over Bryansk, 22 over Kursk, 11 over Kaluga, and 11 over Moscow, including three that were flying towards Moscow. Four drones were shot down over Tula, two over Voronezh, and one each over Belgorod, Rostov, and Oryol.
Russia and Ukraine have been exchanging reports almost daily since the beginning of the war, each claiming to have intercepted attacks from the other. These reports have not been independently verified due to the ongoing conflict, which began in February 2022.
