Russia denied Western accusations that it was responsible for the crash of the small plane, which was carrying ten people, including Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the private military group "Wagner".
"Of course, there are many allegations about the plane crash and the tragic death of its passengers, including Yevgeny Prigozhin," said Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesman for the Russian presidency, the "Kremlin", in press statements, adding, " "The West is making speculations that involve Russia in the process from a well-known angle."
He considered that "all of this is an absolute lie because such cases should be based only on bare facts," noting that there are no results of any examinations confirming Prigozhin's death so far."
A Russian investigation committee had announced, a short time ago, that it had found the two black boxes of the plane that was carrying Prigozhin, and the bodies of the ten victims, in "Tver" district, north of the capital, Moscow, and ordered genetic examinations of the victims to be conducted in order to determine their identities. / End
