Russia: Russia's Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that its air defense systems successfully intercepted 141 Ukrainian drones overnight in several regions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry detailed the interceptions, stating that 35 drones were downed over the Bryansk region, 32 over Crimea, 22 over Krasnodar, 15 over Tula, 13 over Kaluga, seven over Kursk, four each over Ryazan and Rostov, three over Belgorod, two over Leningrad, and one each over Smolensk, Pskov, Novgorod, and the Moscow region.
Ukraine and Russia have been involved in a series of drone and missile exchanges since the conflict erupted in February 2022. This ongoing conflict has resulted in casualties and damage to infrastructure. On the diplomatic front, ground battles persist while US-led efforts are underway to negotiate a ceasefire between the conflicting parties.
