Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Thursday will be relatively hot to hot at places daytime with slight dust, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be fine, the report added.
According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly at a speed of 5 – 15 KT, gusting to 22 KT daytime. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 – 15 KT, gusting to 21 KT at times. The sea state inshore will be 2 – 3 ft, rising to 4 ft at times, while offshore it will be 2 – 4 ft, rising to 6 ft at times. Visibility inshore will be 4 – 9 km, while offshore will be 5 – 10 km.
For tidal information, Doha will experience high tides at 01:17 and 14:15, with low tides at 09:24 and 19:39. Mesaieed will see high tides at 02:49 and 16:23, with low tides at 11:06 and 20:28. Wakrah will have high tides at 01:33 and 16:17, and low tides at 09:18 and 20:32. In Al Khor, high tides will occur at 14:06 and 01:52, with low tides at 17:48 and 08:45. Ruwais will experience high tides at 01:52 and 15:04, and low tides at 08:45 and 21:12. Dukhan will have high tides at 06:37 and 19:32, with low tides at 00:10 and 13:15. Abu Samra will see high tides at 05:45 and 13:12, with low tides at 02:52 and 12:14.
The temperature range today is expected to be between 20°C and 39°C across different areas, with Doha and Wakrah experiencing highs of up to 39°C, while Ruwais will see a maximum of 31°C. Sunrise was at 05:02 LT and sunset is expected at 18:00 LT.
