QSTSS Celebrates Its 5th Cohort of Graduates with 100% University Acceptance Rate

Doha: Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys (QSTSS) has proudly graduated its fifth cohort of students for the academic year 2025-2026, with all 56 graduates securing places at prestigious universities both within Qatar and internationally. The graduation ceremony was graced by the presence of HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) announced that the graduates achieved a remarkable 100 percent university acceptance rate, gaining admission to 14 universities across five countries. Seven of these students have been accepted into globally renowned institutions. Mechanical engineering emerged as the preferred field of study among graduates, followed by disciplines such as medicine and electrical engineering.

The ministry's statement highlighted the cohort's impressive performance in international standardized tests, reporting an average SAT score of 1,169, with the highest score reaching 1,530. The average IELTS score was noted at 7.06, with the top student achieving a score of 8.0.

During the graduation ceremony, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Maha Zayed Qaqaa Alruwaili commended QSTSS for embodying MOEHE's vision of promoting STEM education. She lauded the graduates' academic and research achievements and emphasized the pivotal role of high-quality education in realizing the Qatar National Vision 2030.

QSTSS School Principal Mohammed Ali Mandani Al Emadi expressed pride in the graduates' accomplishments and reaffirmed the school's dedication to producing academically outstanding students capable of competing globally. Parent representative Khalid Abdulrahman Al Musleh extended gratitude to QSTSS for its support in developing students' academic and personal skills.

The ceremony also featured speeches from the graduates, who expressed pride in their educational journey at QSTSS. They acknowledged the robust foundation provided by the school, which has equipped them for future academic pursuits. The event concluded with HE the Minister of Education and Higher Education honoring the graduates with their certificates.

QSTSS offers specialized academic tracks in engineering, medical, and technology fields, ensuring a comprehensive educational experience for its students.
