Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged higher by 0.01% at the start of trading on Tuesday, adding 1.26 points to reach the level of 10,544 points, compared to Monday's closing. According to Qatar News Agency, the index was supported by a rise in Consumer Goods and Services, which increased by 0.30%. However, there were declines in several sectors, including Transportation by 0.03%, Banks and Financial Services and Telecoms both by 0.05%, Real Estate by 0.09%, Industrials by 0.13%, and Insurance by 0.26%. By 10:00 am, the trading session saw 23.047 million shares being traded in 1,755 transactions, with a total value of QR 49.723 million.
