Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index experienced a decline of 39.35 points, or 0.37%, reaching 10,613 points as trading commenced on Monday, in comparison to the previous session’s closing figures.
According to Qatar News Agency, losses were noted across all sectors. The Consumer Goods and Services sector led the decline with a drop of 0.59%, followed by the Real Estate sector, which decreased by 0.56%. The Banks and Financial Services sector fell by 0.55%, while Telecoms saw a decrease of 0.38%. Both the Industrials and Transportation sectors experienced a fall of 0.17%, and the Insurance sector dipped by 0.11%.
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover amounting to QR 52.030 million, with 24.692 million shares being traded across 4,765 transactions.
