Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose by 19.38 points, or 0.18%, at the start of trading on Monday, reaching 10,755 points, compared to the previous close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the QSE index was supported by gains in several sectors: Transportation (+0.93%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.34%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.26%), and Industrials (+0.01%). Meanwhile, declines were recorded in Real Estate (-0.18%), Insurance (-0.19%), and Telecoms (-0.49%).
As of 10:00 am, the QSE recorded a trading volume of 34.569 million shares, with a total value of QR 64.388 million across 2,909 transactions.
