Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index opened higher on Monday, recording an increase of 83.23 points, or 0.80%, to reach 10,544 points. This rise compared to the previous session's close was supported by gains across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, market data highlighted positive performance in various sectors. The Industrials sector increased by 0.17%, Insurance by 0.19%, Telecoms by 0.41%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.80%, Banks and Financial Services by 1.09%, Real Estate by 1.20%, and Transportation by 1.50%.
By 10:00 am, the trading turnover was recorded at QAR 140.560 million, with a total of 67.167 million shares exchanged across 6,479 transactions.
