The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) edged 0.02% lower at start of trading on Tuesday, down 1.88 points to reach the level of 10,154 points compared to yesterday's closing. QSE general index saw a rise in four sectors: Telecoms by 0.76%; Consumer Goods and Services by 0.34%; Real Estate by 0.19%; and Banks and Financial Services by 0.05%. However, the index was weighed down by a decline in Industrials by 0.02%; Insurance by 0.09%; and Transportation by 0.66%. By 10:00 am, 14.594 million shares were traded in 1,574 transactions valued QR 44.296 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
