Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index saw a slight increase of 0.02% at the start of trading on Monday, with an addition of 2.46 points, bringing the index to 11,269 compared to the previous session's close.
According to Qatar News Agency, the market data indicated gains in certain sectors, with Telecoms increasing by 0.71% and Banks and Financial Services rising by 0.28%. However, some sectors experienced losses, including Real Estate, which decreased by 0.03%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.11%, Transportation by 0.13%, Insurance by 0.25%, and Industrials by 0.39%.
By 10:00 am, the QSE reported a turnover of QR 59.615 million, with 32.369 million shares traded across 2,679 transactions.
