QSE Index Closes Lower as 35 Companies Record Losses

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded Thursday's trading session with a decline, shedding 39.42 points, equivalent to 0.38 percent, to reach 10,281.81 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 151,999,970 shares changed hands during the session, amassing a total value of QR 413,419,161.838 through 29,722 transactions spread across various sectors. The session saw 13 companies registering gains, while 35 companies ended in the red, and four companies remained unchanged.

The market capitalization at the end of trading was QR 619,730,039,054.914, a drop from the QR 623,981,286,273.442 recorded in the previous session.
