Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index concluded Thursday's trading session on a positive note, registering an increase of 103.79 points, or 0.96 percent, to settle at 10,915.20 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 230,066,363 shares changed hands during the session, with a trading value amounting to QAR 659,507,733.891. These trades were executed through 34,832 transactions encompassing all sectors of the market.
The trading day saw 34 companies experiencing a rise in their share prices, while 16 companies faced a decline. Meanwhile, two companies retained their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization at the close of the session reached QAR 647,654,171,078.932, marking an increase from QAR 643,407,368,896.364 recorded in the preceding session.
