qQSE Index Opens Lower Amid Sector Pressures

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index fell by 9.59 points, or 0.1%, at the start of Tuesday's trading, down to 10,075.8 points, under pressure from two sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the market data showed declines in the sectors of Industrials (-0.47%) and Banks and Financial Services (-0.05%). Meanwhile, the market exhibited growth in several sectors, with Insurance up by 0.43%, Transportation by 0.37%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.36%, Real Estate by 0.13%, and Telecoms by 0.02%.

At 10:00 a.m., QSE recorded 3,415 transactions worth QR 44.92 million, distributed across 29.14 million shares.
