Doha: The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the fresh attacks on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, labeling them as a violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the continuation of these assaults represents a dangerous escalation. The Ministry noted that such actions would complicate ongoing de-escalation efforts and undermine political and diplomatic endeavors aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.
The Ministry further stressed the importance of immediately ceasing all military actions and attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region. It called for restraint from all actions that could expand the cycle of escalation, urging a serious return to dialogue and negotiations, and adherence to diplomatic understandings that have been achieved.
Additionally, the Ministry reiterated Qatar's full support for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, affirming its backing of all measures Jordan takes to protect its sovereignty and security.
