Doha: The Qatar Cultural Center for the Blind (QCCB) organized a summer camp specifically for its female members, offering a unique blend of learning and recreational activities. The camp aimed to bolster self-confidence, develop personal and life skills, and uncover hidden potential among participants.
According to Qatar News Agency, Coach Hiba Al Abdullah facilitated a discussion session focusing on self-awareness, identifying personal strengths, and transforming challenges into opportunities for personal growth. Al Abdullah motivated participants to step beyond their comfort zones and acquire new skills that would aid their social, spiritual, and physical development, helping them to achieve their goals.
The camp included segments where participants displayed their talents and creative abilities across various fields, reinforcing their confidence and showcasing their potential. Additionally, a workshop offered a platform for participants to express their ideas and creativity through interactive artistic and hands-on activities.
The summer camp is part of QCCB's commitment to delivering high-quality programs that empower blind girls, fostering independence, and enhancing life and leadership skills.
