The day underscores the country's adherence to the core principles and values on which it was founded.
HE QCB Governor discussed the significant achievements realized under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, which have positioned Qatar prominently on regional and global stages. This is substantiated by international organizations and institutions that have lauded Qatar's humanitarian and civilizational contributions, making it a source of pride.
His Excellency acknowledged the profound significance of Qatar National Day's 2025 slogan 'With You It Rises, From You It Awaits', derived from a speech by HH the Amir at Qatar University in 2016. He highlighted that QCB's achievements resonate with the National Day slogan, reinforcing the idea that Qatar's growth is driven by its people, with expectations for increased creativity and innovation. The bank is committed to investing in Qatari talents, recognizing their importance in economic development, and prioritizing them in the third strategy for the financial sector to nurture a generation capable of leading in banking and finance.
HE QCB Governor also noted that Qatar's National Day celebrations reflect the country's historical and cultural identity, honoring the sacrifices of its founder, Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani, and subsequent leaders who laid the groundwork for the modern state. These accomplishments, connecting past and present, are celebrated on this day.
Regarding QCB's milestones this year, HE QCB Governor stated that 2025 marked significant advancements in the financial sector, aligning with the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030.
