Doha: Qatari newspapers, in their Tuesday editorials, highlighted the meeting held on Monday between HH the Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. They also underscored the tripartite meeting between HH the Amir, HRH Crown Prince, and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, and HM King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan held within the framework of strengthening Gulf and regional joint action amid escalating challenges in the region.

On the local front, the newspapers praised Qatar's food security system, built on three pillars: local production, strategic reserves, and diversified global investments. They noted that nearly complete self-sufficiency in poultry and dairy, and surplus vegetable production, is a major accomplishment given harsh climatic conditions. This shift means food security is now a measurable system, not just a political objective.

They also exchanged views on key issues of common interest, stressing the importance of continuing close coordination and consultation regarding various developments, in a way that reflects the depth of the fraternal and strategic relations that bind the brotherly countries and enhance their common interests, the newspaper added.

Al-Raya concluded that Qatar, under HH the Amir's leadership, actively participates in all Arab forums that serve the interests of the Arab nation. It noted that Qatar's high-level representation at the Jeddah meeting sends a clear message that Arab integration and the strengthening of ties between Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan remain a top priority for Doha.

Similarly, Al-Sharq newspaper stated in its editorial, titled "Joint Action: A Pillar of Security and Stability," that the meetings held between His Highness the Amir with HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, as well as the tripartite meeting that brought together HH the Amir, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia and HM the King of Jordan, come within the context of strengthening Gulf and regional cooperation in light of growing regional challenges.

The newspaper considered that such coordination reflects the leaders' keenness to intensify efforts to contain the escalation and end the aggression, thereby contributing to preserving the security and stability of the Gulf states.
