Doha: Qatari newspapers highlighted Thursday HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s important working visit to the Republic of Turkiye, during which His Highness and HE President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will co-chair the 10th session of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee. The Qatari dailies emphasized that the visit reflected the joint keenness on strengthening the strategic relations between the two countries to achieve economic integration and joint interests.
According to Qatar News Agency, the newspaper also highlighted the Cabinet’s welcome of the success of the referendum on the 2024 draft constitutional amendments to the permanent constitution of the State of Qatar, during its regular meeting yesterday. The Cabinet extends the highest congratulations to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and to the people of Qatar, on the success of the constitutional amendments referendum which was held amidst great popular turnout and wide welcome by the citizens.

Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee,” Al-Sharq said the 10th session of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee will be held in Ankara amidst strong bonds of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries and peoples. The 10th session will discuss prospects for enhancing the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries, and will see the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding, Al-Sharq added.
The consensus and common vision of the wise leaderships of both countries contributed to strengthening the strategic partnership between the State of Qatar and the sisterly Republic of Turkey, which is considered one of the most prominent and successful partnerships, and a model to be emulated for bilateral relations, the paper stressed.
