Qatari Editorials Highlight Success in Education and Strategic Development

Doha: Qatari newspapers turned their editorial focus to the recent general secondary education certificate examination results, celebrating the success of Qatar's education system and emphasizing the critical role of education and human development in sustainable development, in alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.

According to Qatar News Agency, the editorials also highlighted the collaboration between educational institutions, families, and stakeholders as a key factor in achieving these improved academic outcomes.

The newspapers detailed the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs' strategy for 2025-2030, which aims to promote Islamic values, support institutional sustainability, and respond to modern development demands. Al Raya, in its editorial titled "Education in Qatar: Today's investment shapes the future," noted that this year's results affirm the success of investing in human capital, emphasizing that Qatar prioritizes education through school and curriculum development, teacher support, and innovation opportunities.

Al Raya also noted the high success rates across all educational tracks, with fifty students achieving perfect scores in the science track, and several schools achieving full success. The newspaper credited families, schools, and the Ministry of Education for these achievements, highlighting the importance of fairness and transparency in examinations and the resulting culture of meritocracy.

The editorial further emphasized the need for continued curriculum development, digital skills enhancement, and partnerships with universities to maintain momentum in educational advancements. Al Raya concluded that sustainable educational investment positively impacts the economy and society, preparing future generations with the necessary knowledge and skills to innovate and contribute to the nation.

In its editorial titled "Secondary school exams: A certificate of success for the education system," Al Sharq emphasized that the secondary school results for the 2025-2026 academic year show that Qatar's education system is progressing towards its strategic goals. It highlighted that despite challenges and exceptional circumstances in the region, the state institutions' preparedness and rapid response ensured the continuity of education and the accuracy of the results.

Al Sharq pointed out that the indicators of success include increased pass rates, more students qualifying for higher education, and excellence in scientific and technological tracks, aligning with the state's goal of preparing national cadres for the knowledge economy. The editorial concluded by affirming the significant impact of investing in education, underscoring that student success reflects the success of a national project prioritizing education and human development as the foundation for Qatar National Vision 2030.
