Doha: Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has urged Qataris currently abroad to download its official app and register their details to ease communication in emergency situations. The ministry emphasized the importance of this step to ensure that citizens can be reached swiftly and effectively during times of crisis.
According to Qatar News Agency, the app is available for both iOS and Android users, providing a convenient way for citizens to stay connected with their home country. Moreover, MoFA has advised Qataris who may face challenges in transportation or require consular support to contact diplomatic missions of the State of Qatar in their respective countries. The ministry also stressed the importance of adhering to local authorities' instructions and guidelines.
In emergency scenarios, the ministry has highlighted the necessity for citizens to reach out to the diplomatic missions of the State of Qatar using the designated phone numbers.
