Qatar, UK, and France Ministers Discuss Lebanon’s Stability with Speaker Berri

Beirut: HE Parliament Speaker of the Lebanese Republic Nabih Berri has held talks in Beirut with a joint ministerial delegation from Qatar, the United Kingdom, and France, focusing on the country's political and security situation. The high-level meeting aimed to address the ongoing challenges Lebanon faces and explore avenues for regional cooperation to enhance its stability.

According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation included HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Dr. Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad from Qatar; HE Baroness Chapman of Darlington, Minister of State (International Development and Africa) of the United Kingdom; and HE Eleonore Caroit, Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships, and French Nationals Abroad, attached to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic. These discussions underscored the importance of international collaboration in supporting Lebanon amidst its current political and economic turmoil.

The meeting reviewed recent developments in Lebanon and examined regional and international efforts aimed at strengthening the country's security and stability. The dialogue highlighted the role of international partners in fostering peace and security in Lebanon, a country that has been navigating complex political landscapes.

The discussions also covered a number of issues of mutual interest, reflecting continued international engagement with Lebanon. The ministers reiterated their countries' commitment to supporting Lebanon through diplomatic and strategic initiatives, ensuring a stable and prosperous future for the Lebanese people.
