Qatar Stock Exchange index lost 53.55 points at the beginning of Thursday's trading, or 0.54%, to reach the level of 9926 points, compared to the end of Wednesday's trading, as a result of the pressure of the various sectors that make up the general index.
Qatar Stock Exchange figures attributed the negative performance of the index to the decline in the bank and financial services sector by 0.27%, the transport sector by 0.30%, the consumer goods and services sector by 0.31%, the real estate sector by 0.46%, the communications sector by 0.53%, the industrial sector by 0.93%, and the insurance sector by 1.40%.
At 10:00 am, Qatar stock exchange recorded transactions worth QR 44.439 million, distributed among 20.603 million shares, with the implementation of 1670 transactions.
