Qatar Stock Exchange Closes Higher as Benchmark Index Rises

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange closed higher on Sunday, with its benchmark index rising 35.09 points, or 0.32 percent, to finish at 10,912.14. Trading volume reached 101.4 million shares, with a total value of QR 216.9 million across 10,986 transactions spanning all sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, shares of 29 companies advanced during the session, while 21 declined. Two companies ended unchanged, reflecting a generally positive trend in the market.

Market capitalization increased to QR 653.7 billion, up from QR 650.6 billion in the previous session, indicating a continued upward trajectory in investor confidence.
