Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened the week on a stronger note with its index rising 142.53 points, or 1.37%, compared to Thursday closing, to reach the level of 105.43 points. QSE was supported by a rise in all sectors: Banks and Financial Services by 1.47%; Telecoms by 1.36%; Transportation by 1.35%; Real Estate by 1.26%; Industrials by 1.19%; Consumer Goods and Services by 1.01%; and Insurance by 0.60%. By 10:00 am, 66.465 million shares were traded in 3,532 transactions valued QR 123.458 million. Source: Qatar News Agency
