Doha: HE Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Qatar, Walid Fahmy Al Faqi, affirmed that Qatar's National Day serves as a significant national occasion that celebrates the journey of its founders and their achievements, reflecting the nation's values of progress and development.
According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency highlighted that this occasion is an opportunity to recognize the political, economic, and developmental milestones achieved under the leadership's vision, embodying the spirit of cohesion between the Qatari people and residents which underscores the values of respect and coexistence in Qatari society.
His Excellency emphasized Egypt's shared joy with Qatar on this occasion and reiterated the commitment to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation between the two nations. He acknowledged the important role of the Egyptian community in Qatar, contributing significantly to the development process and fostering cultural and human connections between the two peoples. His Excellency also expressed optimism for future cooperation opportunities to enhance integration and development between Egypt and Qatar.
The ambassador noted the deeply rooted fraternal relations between Egypt and Qatar, which have been flourishing with increased momentum and growth due to the political will and shared vision of both countries' leadership. He highlighted the remarkable development in relations marked by high-level visits and strengthened cooperation in various fields including politics, economy, investment, energy, infrastructure, and culture.
He specifically pointed out the development of Qatari investments in Egypt, with notable joint projects on the North Coast and in the tourism and energy sectors, while Egyptian companies are expanding in the Qatari market. His Excellency praised the extensive renaissance Qatar is experiencing across various sectors, attributing it to ambitious vision and leadership that has achieved rapid and tangible development. He commended the strategic planning and developmental vision in infrastructure, education, health, and scientific research, as well as economic diversification and sustainability policies.
