Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) has announced updated deposit rates for multiple currencies as of Thursday. These rates reflect the bank's strategic adjustments in response to current economic conditions.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD are set at 3.65112% for one month, 3.704405% for two months, 3.75769% for three months, 3.88115% for six months, and 4.03530% for twelve months. For JPY, the rates remain consistent at 0.95000% for one, two, and three months, with a slight increase to 1.05000% for six months and 1.43000% for twelve months. Meanwhile, CHF rates are listed as -0.19000% for one month, -0.09000% for two months, 0.05000% for three months, -0.02000% for six months, and 0.20000% for twelve months. GBP deposit rates are 3.76000% for one month, 3.86000% for two months, 3.92000% for three months, 4.11000% for six months, and 4.38000% for twelve months.
The deposit rates for local and regional currencies such as QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD have also been updated. QAR rates are 4.02005% for one month, 3.99720% for two months, 4.00000% for three and six months, and 3.95000% for twelve months. SAR rates start at 4.50000% for one month and increase slightly over time, with a twelve-month rate of 4.60000%. AED rates begin at 2.05000% for one month and rise to 3.15000% for twelve months. BHD rates start at 4.60000% for one and two months, increasing to 4.85000% for twelve months.
These adjustments by QNB are part of the bank's ongoing efforts to align its offerings with market trends and economic fluctuations.
