Qatar National Bank Releases New Deposit Rates

Doha: Deposit rates at opening, as issued on Tuesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB), reveal the latest interest rates across various currencies for different deposit periods. The rates, applicable to currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD, show varying trends for one-month up to twelve-month deposits.

According to Qatar News Agency, for USD deposits, the rates start at 3.62103% for one month and increase to 3.91915% for twelve months. Meanwhile, the JPY rates remain relatively low, starting at 0.70000% for one month and reaching 1.25000% for twelve months. CHF rates, which begin at -0.14000% for one month, rise to 0.15000% for the twelve-month term.

GBP deposit rates indicate a steady increase from 3.73000% for one month to 4.55000% for twelve months. The local currency, QAR, shows a slight decrease from 4.05100% at one month to 3.95000% at twelve months.

For SAR, the rates maintain a steady level around 4.30000% after an initial one-month rate of 4.50000%. AED deposits start at 2.05000% for one month and rise to 3.15000% for twelve months. BHD rates initially start at 4.60000% for one month and stabilize at 4.50000% from two months onward.
