New york: The State of Qatar participated in a high-level event organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) titled “Promoting a Culture of Peace and Tolerance.” This event was held in commemoration of the 1,500th anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Qatar News Agency, the State of Qatar was represented at the event by Her Excellency Sheikha Hanouf bint Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Director of the International Organizations Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
