Jeddah: The State of Qatar participated in the second meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Middle East Green Initiative, held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The meeting saw the attendance of ministers and representatives from various participating countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar was represented by HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie. In his speech, Dr. Al Subaie emphasized the strategic significance of the Middle East Green Initiative for the region, highlighting its potential to transform environmental and climate challenges into opportunities for current and future generations.
Dr. Al Subaie also underscored that the initiative's success is a testament to the spirit of solidarity and cooperation among the region's countries. He noted that it demonstrates the collective ability to contribute to shaping environmental and climate solutions, supporting the achievement of a safer and more sustainable future.
