Qatar Engages in Global Connectivity Discussions at 5th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum

Tbilisi: HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al-Thani has led the State of Qatar’s delegation to the 5th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, which was inaugurated by HE the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze in Tbilisi. The forum is a two-day event that gathers nearly 2000 participants worldwide, including government heads, ministers, industry leaders, and senior representatives from international, financial, and trade organizations.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum addresses critical topics related to transportation, logistics, development of ground, maritime, and air corridors, world trade, energy, digital transformation, and the investment ecosystem within the transportation industry of the participating countries.

Qatar’s involvement in the forum highlights its dedication to supporting international efforts aimed at enhancing global connectivity and exchanging expertise in transportation. This participation underscores Qatar’s role as an active player in developing a sustainable transportation ecosystem both regionally and internationally. These efforts align with the goals of the NDS3, the Ministry of Transport Strategy 2025-2030, and the Qatar National Vision 2030.
