Qatar Condemns Iranian Attacks on Jordan and Kuwait

Doha: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of recent attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran on the territories of Jordan and Kuwait. Qatar has labeled these actions as a clear violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both nations, citing concerns over breaches of international law, the United Nations Charter, and principles of good neighborliness.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Thursday emphasizing the potential dangers of continuing these attacks. The Ministry warned that the escalation could complicate efforts to de-escalate tensions and undermine ongoing political and diplomatic efforts in the region aimed at restoring security and stability.

The Ministry called for an immediate halt to all military operations and attacks, citing the risk they pose to regional security and stability. It urged all parties to avoid actions that could lead to further escalation and to return to negotiations and dialogue, respecting diplomatic understandings previously achieved.

Moreover, the Ministry reaffirmed Qatar's solidarity with Jordan and Kuwait, expressing support for any measures the two countries take to protect their sovereignty and security.
