Qatar and Dominica Establish Open Skies Air Services Agreement

Montreal: The State of Qatar signed an open skies air services agreement with the Commonwealth of Dominica on the sidelines of its participation in the 42nd General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was signed on behalf of Qatar by Acting President of the Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) Mohammed bin Faleh Al Hajri, and on behalf of the Commonwealth of Dominica by HE Minister of Tourism, International Transport, and Maritime Denise Charles Pemberton. Under the agreement, designated carriers from both countries are permitted to operate an unlimited number of passenger and cargo flights with full transport rights. This move is set to enhance cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the field of air transport. This signing is part of the State of Qatar's strategic efforts to strengthen its connectivity with other nations through the signing of new air services agreements. Such agreements enable the national carrier to e xpand its network and reach more global destinations.
