Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a phone conversation with HH Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud. The discussion centered on bilateral cooperation and strategies to bolster these relations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue also included an exchange of views on the latest regional developments, focusing on diplomatic initiatives to enhance regional security and stability. This follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's support for ongoing negotiations between the United States and Iran. The aim is to achieve sustainable solutions to outstanding issues via dialogue and peaceful means, which would strengthen regional security and open new avenues for cooperation, development, and prosperity. This approach aligns with the common interests of the region's and the world's populations.
