Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Anwar Ibrahim. The conversation centered on enhancing cooperation relations between the two nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussion also addressed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, focusing particularly on efforts to maintain the ceasefire agreement in the region. HE the Prime Minister of Malaysia expressed his country’s full support for initiatives aimed at ensuring the success of the ceasefire.
The leaders further exchanged views on various regional and international issues of mutual interest during the call.
